October 13, 2006 The Jamie Richards Benefit show is scheduled for Sunday, October 22, 2006 at W.W. Fairfield's in Richardson, Texas. The show, headlined by Deryl Dodd, already includes Westbound, Level Route, Spur 503, Candy Coburn, Zane Lewis, and Mark McDonald. There may also be a few surprises that show up to perform. Items to be raffled/auctioned off have been donated by U.S. Legends Guitars, Best in Texas Magazine, The Browse Shop Western Wear, Texas Nites Entertainment, Sparkles and Spurs, and merchandise from Radney Foster, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Mickey and the Motorcars, Randy Rogers Band, Sonny Burgess, and Tommy Alverson. More donations are being added daily. The fun starts at 1:30 pm when Westbound takes the stage. They will be followed by Level Route at 2:45 pm and Spur 503 at 4:00pm. Nashville up and comer Candy Coburn performs at 5:15 pm. The high engery act of Zane Lewis follows at 6:30pm, while newcomer Mark McDonald takes over at 7:45pm. Texas legend Deryl Dodd brings his Pearl Snaps to the stage at 9:00pm to close the show. As a special treat, Justin Frazell from 99.5 The Wolf, will host his Front Porch Show live from the benefit. Tickets for the event are $10 at the door and all proceeds go to Jamie and the band. Come on out, have a good time, and help support one of our favorite Texas artist in his time of need.
July 16, 2006 The Deryl Dodd Benefit at the White Elephant Saloon in Ft. Worth was a huge success. Nearly $4500 was raised for the band. Performing at the event were Tommy Alverson, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Jamie Richards, Zane Lewis Band, Level Route, Michael Klein Band, King Cone, 3 Ring Rodeo, Travis Mitchell Band, and Spur 503.

A special thanks goes to the White Elephant Saloon for hosting the event; to Gary and Dennis of Digimax Productions, and Spur 503 for providing sound; to Susan Walsh and David Rohr of Texas Nites Entertainment for coordinating the day long event; and DD's "Merchandise Mafia", Michelle, Terri, Steve, and Sue.

Donated items were auctioned off by auctioneer Barbara Love. Items were provided by radio station 95.9 - The Ranch, Randy Rogers Band, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Billy Bob's Texas, Micky and The Motorcars, Cory Morrow, Andy Griggs, Gary P. Nunn, Martina McBride, Charley's Guitars, No Justice, Cooder Graw, Wade Bowen, Davin James, Darren Kozelsky, Level Route, Max Stalling, Mustang Music Group, Poor David's Pub, Radney Foster, Robert Earl Keene, Sonny Burgess, Sparkles and Spurs, The Browse Shop, U.S.Legends Guitars, and Texas Nites Entertainment.
